Bandon Dunes Trip Tips: Add your own below
You have to plan over 12 months out. However, Tripcaddie.com has ready made trips that you can get you there, this year if they are not sold out yet.
Which airport you fly into is important - There are shuttles to OTH airport but not to Eugene which is much further away. This may impact play on travel days.
It's a lot of walking, consider just wearing your most comfortable sneakers. The ground is generally pretty firm and you don't need spikes.
Definitely make time for the Par3 course and putting course. Both are excellent choices late afternoon, into the evening.
You do not need transportation once you are at the resort. Shuttles are available everywhere to get you around. They do a fantastic job getting you around.
Plenty of place to eat reservations will help, but there are a few places you can eat dinner without reservations.
It's windy, very windy! You are exposed on all the courses, especially Sheep Ranch. It will affect your shots and you the type of clothing you will need.
The caddies are great! very experienced and will make your trip a great experience.
Who else has some tips to add?

Bring more than 1 pair of shoes. You won't want to walk in a pair that just went through a downpour, plus it's nice to get a fresh pair in between rounds.
Be caddy friendly! limit the amount of balls in your bag and definitely other paraphernalia.
invest in decent rain gear. It can double as the outer layer for wind protection. Nothing worse than walking 36 and getting soaked.
Ask your caddy about the "secret" tee boxes. There are a number of locations where tee boxes were considered/built and are not in use. they can make some cool alternated tee shots on courses you've already played (ex: #2 Bandon Dunes tee box directly behind #1 green).
